Welcome to JLD Wellness: Your Path to Lasting Health and Balance After 40

Hi friends, and welcome to the very first JLD Wellness blog post! I’m so glad you’re here.

My name is Jen Desrochers, and I’ve spent over 25 years in healthcare—as both a Registered Nurse and a Nutritionist, with a Board Certification in Functional Medicine Health Coaching. Today, I combine my background in traditional medicine with holistic health coaching to help adults 40+ feel better, live healthier, and thrive. JLD Wellness was created to make integrative health coaching simple, approachable, and tailored to your needs.

Why This Work Matters to Me

This is personal. I’ve been managing my own health challenges, including hormone imbalance and diabetes, so I know how frustrating it can feel to get conflicting information or quick-fix advice that doesn’t work long-term. That’s why I focus on helping my clients create lasting lifestyle changes through a blend of functional medicine, nutrition, and holistic wellness.
